A growing movement across the country links public child welfare systems with the communities where children live in efforts to achieve the goal of safety for children.1 Through the Partnership for Community-Based Services, CFSA joins this movement. CFSA is partnering with the HFTC Collaboratives and families within their communities to promote the shared mission, “To improve the long-term safety, permanence, and well-being of children and to strengthen their families.” This practice protocol guides our work with children and their families.
