Visitation with parents, siblings, and other kin is a child’s right, not a privilege or something to be earned or denied based on behavior of the child or their parent(s). The Child and Family Services Agency and its private agency partners ensure that social workers visit children and their families, and that children maintain frequent visits with their parents, kin, significant non-relatives and siblings as appropriate.
