POLICY

The Child Protection Register maintains an index of perpetrators of child abuse and neglect in the District of Columbia. Staff members of the Child Protection Register receive reports and information necessary for the operation of the Register, making appropriate entries and releasing information contained in the Register in a manner that is consistent with the law.
