CFSA’s Partners for Kids and Families (PKF) is dedicated to providing children, youth, and families with essential resources and supports through generous donations from the community. When you get involved with PKF you will be making an impact on the lives of children and youth in foster care, and families that come to our attention. Together we can make a difference in the lives of DC children and families.

Your gifts will bring valuable resources to children and families who need them most.

Participate in the New Clothes Matter Donation Drive, a partnership between CFSA’s Partners for Kids and Families and Target. This initiative will help us provide new clothing to children aged 5-12 in DC's Foster Care System. We believe that new clothes are essential because every child deserves to feel seen, cherished, and confident. Your support can make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Donation Center: Children, teens, and families shop this “free store” on-site at CFSA year-round. Your donation of luggage and toiletries helps to smooth a difficult transition for children entering foster care. Families will make good use of your gift of new clothing, new toiletries, infant supplies, new sleeping bags, new bed sheets and comforters, new bath towels, new washcloths, games, and toys.

Back to School Drive: We seek to obtain school supplies for our scholars in elementary, middle, high school, and college.

Home Starter Kits: For a child raised in foster care the transition to adulthood can be difficult. You can help give foster youth a New Start in their New Home by sponsoring Home Starter Kits. Click the Home Starter Kit to view the list of items needed for youth aging out of foster care.

Holiday Drive: During Thanksgiving and the Winter Holidays, we look to bring joy into the hearts and homes of our children and families through your donations of food baskets, gifts, toys, and/or gift cards.

Prom & Winter Formals: Sponsor a teen as they go off to prom and winter formals with a new dress, suit, shoes, jewelry, hair, makeup, transportation, and/or gift card support.

Enrichment Activities: Sponsor an educational, recreational, after-school, summer camp, internship, or job shadow activity. We welcome tickets to plays, concerts, movies, kids, and sports events.
