STAAND Resource Parent Portal

CFSA has launched a new online portal for prospective and current Resource Parents starting February 6th, 2026. This portal will be a part of CFSA’s new child welfare information system, called STAAND (Stronger Together Against Abuse and Neglect in DC).

 

This page includes a series of short, instructional videos that will help you use the new system.

 

STAAND will help with accessing and uploading documents by providing a single technology system for engagement, increased transparency, and improved communication with CFSA. For example, as you complete training, you will be able to upload documents, training certificates, etc., for your re-licensing worker's review. You will also be able to see outstanding re-licensing tasks.

 

Licensing & Training Portal

Prospective and current Resource Parents who are going through recruitment, pre-service training, initial licensing, or relicensing can go to the Licensing & Training Portal at https://cfsaparent.dc.gov. 

Resource Parent Portal 

Current licensed Resource Parents can go to the Resource Parent Portal 2.0, which features Placement details for youth/children, managing potential placements, managing availability and provider questionnaires, among other features. Click here to watch the video and learn about the features.
