CFSA COVID-19 Guidance (Providers)

Thursday, March 12, 2020

Thank you to those who joined yesterday’s call with CFSA’s Chief of Staff, Rachel Molly Joseph. As promised on the call, I would like to share the updated information that yesterday evening, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser declared both a state of emergency and a public health emergency in response to the recently reported cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19). The press release and declarations are below and attached.

We are continuing our work to address concerns you may have around safety.

As a reminder from yesterday’s call, please share your continuity of operations plans and any fiscal implications associated with its implementation with your contract administrator or CFSA point of contact ASAP.

Updated information on precautionary measures can be found at https://coronavirus.dc.gov/. Please email [email protected] with any individual child or family-related issues, questions or concerns.

As I receive updated COVID-19 related information or guidance from District leadership, updates will be shared.
