Children and youth who have been removed from their homes because of child abuse or neglect are at high risk of being victims of commercial sexual exploitation/sex trafficking. To better serve our foster children, child welfare service providers must become familiar with the indicators that a child may be a victim and the steps to address the needs of children and youth who have been sexually exploited.
