When the decision is made to remove one or more children from the home, but leave one or more other children in the home, the removing worker must assess and then clearly document the safety and risk of harm for each child in the home and the justification for such decisions. Ongoing case management of the children remaining in the home is to occur as long as there are safety issues in the home as outlined in this policy.
