It is the policy of the Child and Family Services Agency to ensure that children in foster care receive preventative and ongoing health care. This entails regular evaluations and assessments of a child's physical, psychological, and emotional development. Ongoing health care also allows for appropriate treatment and support (as needed) while simultaneously ensuring the most appropriate placement setting.
